Click on the "Register" button on the top right side of the city home page
Fill out the simple form and click Register button
Q. How much does it cost to post an ad?
A. carobaar.com is a free service and does not charge you any fees to
post an ad. Go ahead and enjoy it.
Q. How do I post my ad on carobaar.com?
You need to first be a registered user
After registering, Go to the "Sell" section on your city home page
Select the appropriate category where you would like to place your ad
Fill in all the details that you wish to share with potential buyers
You can also upload picture in order to attract more buyers
You can click "Preview Ad" to see what your Ad looks like before it goes live
Click on "Submit your Ad" to submit the Ad
Your Ad will appear live on the site within 24 Hours of your posting, subject to
meeting the Terms of Use and Prohibited Items Policy.
Q. How do I add a picture to my Ad?
A. You can add 1 photo, maximum 2 MB. All you need to
do is click on "Browse" when posting an ad and select the photo that you want. Your
photo will be uploaded in a few seconds.
Q. What is "My Account"?
A. "My Account" is your personal user account where you can view
the ads that you have posted or deleted. You can even modify/ edit your ad after
it goes live through "My Account". You can also repost your ad after it is expires
though "My Account".
Q. Can I edit or delete my ad?
A. Yes, when you post your ad, you will be sent an email containing
links to edit or delete your ad anytime. Or else, you can always click on the "My
Account" link on the home page and go into "Manage My Ads" to edit, repost or delete
your ad.
Q. How do I know if someone is interested in my Ad?
Users can give their contact details only if they wish to do so. You do not have
to necessarily include your phone number while posting your ad. The choice is yours.
If you put your phone number, the interested parties can directly contact you.
However, if you choose not to reveal your contact details, carobaar.com allows users to
send you an email. After you receive the email message, you can choose to respond
and give additional information like phone number.
Q. How do I search for a particular product or service?
A. To search a particular product or service, just click on the
relevant category and location. You will be able to view postings according to the
dates they are posted at with the latest ads at the top.
You can also make use of the search engine on the home page. You can enter a keyword
that your are looking for in the box provided and then click "Search" to get the
results for the city.
Q. How do I reply to an Ad?
A. Click on the ad you are interested in. On the ad page, there
is a section on the right called 'Send email to seller'. Fill in the required details
like email and message with your contact details (if required) to the seller
and click the "Send Email" button to email the person who has posted the Ad.
Alternately, you can call the advertiser if they have given any contact details.
Q. How long does my ad remain posted on carobaar.com?
A. Ads stay on the site for 60 days. However, you can extend it
for free by renewing your post before the expiry date. You can even delete your
ad by logging into "My Account".
